BBC Derby have asked that we share this event with you… it’s today at The Whitworth Centre. I see there is going to be a choir forming too 🙂

You will be able to meet experts and ask questions to find out more information about hereditary cancers.

As part of our It Starts With You campaign, we're holding a free event at the Whitworth Centre in Darley Dale tomorrow (Wednesday 29 July) from 11:00 until 15:00.

BBC Radio Derby presenter Becky Measures and her mum will be at the event - they both had preventative mastectomies after finding out they had a faulty gene.

🌊💙 Dementia-Friendly Swim Sessions – Every Thursday! 💙🌊

Join us every Thursday from 9:00am – 10:00am for our instructor-led swim sessions, specially designed for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or similar neurological conditions.

Led by the wonderful Dawn, our experienced Freedom Leisure instructor, these sessions offer a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where participants can stay active, build confidence in the water, and enjoy gentle exercise at their own pace.
