This is your 7 day call for the September glass collection, which will take place on Sunday 6th September 2026.

♻️ Scouts Glass recycling collection service ♻️ (Marsden HD7 only)

** PLEASE, GLASS SHOULD NOT HAVE FOOD WASTE LEFT IN IT, AND NO BROKEN GLASS PLEASE **

The collection will usually be from 9am onwards (please send a message with your address details if we haven't collected from you previously).

Bottles and jars are usually transferred to our own boxes and sacks and taken away for recycling at the local bottle bank. (If your box disappears briefly though, there will be a reason and it will come back!)

Please leave your donation on the day of collection (leave underneath the bag/box) or it can be sent bank transfer if you prefer (please message for details).

The suggested amount is £3 for each bag or box of bottles. Please give generously… we have one young person going to Poland for the world Scout Jamboree in 2027 and glass collecting has supported those who went to the international Scout trip to Peru this summer.

August glass collection - traditionally we don’t glass collect in August due to holidays etc. We will be back to collect either 6th or 13th September, but will update nearer the time. Apologies for any inconvenience.
