On Thursday 4th June Marlow Art and Crafts Society will be having a demonstration of "Light filled watercolours" with artist Catherine Beale.

Catherine is an experienced and recognised watercolour artist specialising in capturing the light.

The meeting starts at 7.30 pm on 4th June at Marlow Bottom Village Hall. Non-members are very welcome at the cost of £3, to include coffee and biscuits.

THANK YOU to everyone who braved the heat and visited our exhibition. There was a great buzz and we have had lots of lovely feedback on the variety of work, the curation and the good value of many of the pieces. We are delighted that pictures, ceramics, jewellery, glassworks and cards have found new homes 💛

Thanks to our members and guest exhibitors for bringing their work for display - and for the exhibition sub committee for the work behind the scenes and the set up.

A final thanks to Marlowe and Arty for their promotion activities around the town. They have their feet up and are thinking of new locations they can use next year!

Yesterday evening, Marlow Art and Crafts Society members showed their varied work designing and painting Christmas cards. It was judged by Colin Brown, the speaker of the evening, who judged Satu Vartiainen's as the winning card, with Sue French's "Sheep in the snow" as runner-up. Well done to Satu and Sue!

Marlow Art and Crafts Society very recently held its AGM. The Society expressed grateful thanks to Mary Woolams, who retired as Chairman after 5 years' service. She is succeeded by Nicole Hockly.
Nicole, on behalf of the MACS committee, presented Mary with a plaque crafted by Alison Pink.
