Marks Tey Parish Council

Marks Tey Parish Council This is a community page for information and events from Marks Tey Parish Council.

Marks Tey Parish Council has five Councillors who come from all different backgrounds and try to represent the views and interests of people living in the Parish. We aim to raise issues of public concern with other authorities such as Colchester District Council, Essex County Council and the Police and comment on planning applications, roadworks, future development and other proposals for the vill

age. The Council provides and/or maintains many of the public areas and facilities within the Village, including the Parish Green, the Parish Hall, some street lights, bus stops and much more. This page is a forum for information sharing about the work of the Parish Council, upcoming community events and local issues. It is maintained by representatives from the Parish Council along with Parish staff members and as such we are not able to express the views of the Parish Council on specific issues here other than those views already recorded in the minutes of our meetings. Any residents seeking advice or clarification on any particular issues are encouraged to contact our Parish Clerk or to attend any of our public meetings to put their questions to the Chair. 'Tell us' by Essex County Council is where you can report anything that you feel needs addressing such as pot holes, damage to paths, walk ways, roads, signs etc.

A website that could be worth becoming familiar with.
