Marks Tey Parish Council This is a community page for information and events from Marks Tey Parish Council.

Marks Tey Parish Council has five Councillors who come from all different backgrounds and try to represent the views and interests of people living in the Parish. We aim to raise issues of public concern with other authorities such as Colchester District Council, Essex County Council and the Police and comment on planning applications, roadworks, future development and other proposals for the village. The Council provides and/or maintains many of the public areas and facilities within the Village, including the Parish Green, the Parish Hall, some street lights, bus stops and much more. This page is a forum for information sharing about the work of the Parish Council, upcoming community events and local issues. It is maintained by representatives from the Parish Council along with Parish staff members and as such we are not able to express the views of the Parish Council on specific issues here other than those views already recorded in the minutes of our meetings. Any residents seeking advice or clarification on any particular issues are encouraged to contact our Parish Clerk or to attend any of our public meetings to put their questions to the Chair. Colchester City Council want to hear from everyone, including people who never use the bus.

Let's talk bus travel, Colchester! 👍

We've teamed up with local organisations, authorities and bus companies through the Colchester Bus Growth Partnership, and we want to hear about your experience of travelling by bus around the city, or why you choose not to.

We'd like to understand what works well with our existing services, as well as the main barriers that might be stopping people from using the bus more often.

Whether you're a regular bus user or rarely catch one, we'd love to hear from you.

👀 We know a new bus station is high on many people's wish lists. We're hoping to be able to share more about our plans for this in the next few weeks. 🤗
