ME Sports in the Community are providing the very best quality sports coaching and activity based education and ins
truction to schools, pre-schools, colleges, clubs, councils, nurseries, community groups and independent organisations on a day-to-day basis as well as, through our ME Education brand, a host of education based projects for all industries including apprenticeship, NVQ, traineeship, BTEC, short courses, adult classes and CPD on top of both mental health and health & well-being themed community seminars. In schools, we are consistently delivering an excellent standard of PE sessions as part of PPA cover as well as breakfast clubs, lunchtime clubs and after-school activities in a wide range of sports from football and rugby right through to gymnastics and dance, arts & crafts, PSHE, outdoor pursuits and forest schooling. Cycling Development is a recent addition to our product services, where cycling support can be provided in schools or the community by our team of expert instructors in the form of balance bike sessions, learn to ride programmes, basic cycling skills and bike maintenance workshops. We also provide a number of pre-school and nursery settings with FUNdamental sports skills activities, CycleBugs, Mini Movers and our SoccerTots sessions are particularly popular! Our teacher training programmes are an extremely economic and popular way for schools to develop current staff within the school. Teacher training and CPD delivery within schools and pre-school settings includes first aid, health & safety, safeguarding, equality & diversity, mental health, autism awareness, fire safety, health & well-being, team teach and a number of sports leadership qualifications. We are also available to colleges, councils, clubs, and any government funded or independent organisations for our highly qualified and vastly experienced coaches to deliver sport specific or multi-sports sessions, whether it be a regular contract of provision or simply a one-off event. Our own community based regular multi-sports, dance, gymnastics and football clubs are held in various venues throughout the country as well as a host of holiday clubs during the year. From an adult education perspective, as well as at our headquarters in Leicestershire, we have satellite centres where we host yearly calendar programmes of classes, qualifications and seminars for communities to engage in both personal & workforce development and up-skilling. The football specific sector of ME Sports in the Community is the Matt Elliott Football Development Scheme, where Matt, in his capacity as Sports Director oversees our academies, development centres, soccer schools, holiday camps and casual clubs with the children benefiting from his vast experience as an ex-professional and international footballer. We also provide opportunities for coaches to develop their career through delivering many coaching, leadership and development qualifications throughout the United Kingdom. Our extensive work within the community now sees us also delivering a number of adult activities for health & well-being, sport and mental health in many locations such as walking football as well as cycling, running and walking clubs, often in collaboration with local councils. These are very popular within communities for adults of all ages as well as the aforementioned regular delivery of sports and industry related qualifications, short-courses, seminars and adult learning projects at our headquarters and satellite centres. All our tutors, assessors, coaches and instructors in all sectors are insured, CRB/DBS checked, first aid trained along with safeguarding, health & wellbeing, autism awareness, equality & diversity, fire safety, health & safety...as well as an extensive and wide range of industry related qualifications and leadership certificates.
