West Lindsey have confirmed that the CCTV cameras in Market Rasen are working . They are monitored by Council Officers, with relevant information passed on to the police and other appropriate services.

Inspector Mike Head of Lincolnshire Police and West Lindsey District Council are holding a Market Rasen Community Meeting at 5pm on Monday March 16th around Thursday Evening's Union Street Incident. All Welcome.

The meeting is in The Festival Hall.

A man has died following an incident in Market Rasen.

We received a call at 5.07pm reporting that a man in his 30s had been found in Union Street with suspected stab wounds. Sadly he later died.

A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident.

Residents will see an increased police presence in the town as our investigation continues.

We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information that could help, to contact us on 101 quoting incident 370 of 12 March.

We are also keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam or Ring doorbell footage.

UPDATE: THE CHAIR HAS NOW FOUND A NEW HOME!

We would love to gift this chair bed to a family in need ❤️

It helped Nic’s mum massively by reducing swelling in her legs and water retention, and really supported her mobility.

• Still under warranty
• All paperwork included

We’ve contacted local care homes but haven’t heard back yet. If you work in care, know a family who could benefit, or know someone in need, please get in touch ASAP.

Ideally it needs to be collected this weekend.
