🚲🇬🇧 What a fantastic day for Caistor! 🇬🇧🚲

It was brilliant to see The Tour Of Britain come through our streets today, and I think the crowds lining the roads, the noise, the atmosphere and the incredible effort that went into decorating the town really showed just what Caistor can do when everyone comes together. 🙌🏻

There was a real buzz around the town, and it was fantastic to see so many local people getting behind the event and putting Caistor firmly on the map! 🔴🟢🟡🔵

A huge well done to everyone who helped make it such a great spectacle — Caistor absolutely did itself proud! 👏🏻

3x MOT’s, 3x passes for a few of M9 HDD LTD’s excellently turned out vehicles and trailers this week 🙌

They have made the transition from Scania to Volvo’s recently and we think they’re looking absolutely fabulous, credit to Martin, Craig and the rest of the team 🤝

We’re incredibly proud to support Caistor’s efforts to welcome the Tour of Britain as some of the world’s best teams and riders race through the streets of our town on Wednesday 2nd September! 🚲🇬🇧

The time, effort and generosity shown by everyone involved has been absolutely tremendous. From Caistor Car & Commercial spray-painting 40 push bikes in the colours of the Lincolnshire flag, to everyone who has volunteered their time, skills and resources — it really highlights what a fantastic community Caistor is.

It’s a great place to live, work and run a business, and we’re proud to be part of it. 😊🤝🚲

A great mix of big engine jobs has been through the workshop over the past couple of months 💪

Alongside our usual busy general workshop work, we’ve tackled some sizeable jobs, including a couple of non-Scania engines that were a little outside our usual comfort zone — but that’s all part of the versatility of our workshop!

🔧 Scania S580 – Camshaft repair and complete set of roller replacements

🔧 Scania R580 – All 8 piston & liner assemblies replaced, along with all main and big-end bearing shells

🔧 DAF XF – Camshaft and complete set of roller replacements

🔧 Peterbilt Cummins – Full piston & liner replacement, plus all main and big-end bearing shells replaced

It’s been great to get stuck into some varied engine work alongside our already very busy general workshop workload.

The 2 biggest Swedes in for repairs and a service today in between delivering essential loads.
