🛶 🎯 Adventure, Friendship and Big Smiles 🎯 🛶
Scouts and Cubs from across Harborough District enjoyed an action-packed Activity Day filled with challenge, fun and friendship.
There really was something for everyone, from archery and tomahawk throwing to crate stacking, aerial trek and team-building challenges. On the water, young people got to have a go at canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding and even paddling together on the giant SUPs.
It was brilliant to see so many young people making new friends, with groups from all over the district taking part – including some of our friends from Countesthorpe Scout Group.
A huge thank you to Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre for hosting us and helping create such a fantastic experience.
A special shout out to Eddie, one of our brilliant Young Leaders, who went the extra mile to help some of our young people with additional needs enjoy time on the water.
And finally, thank you to Georgie and the District Programme Team for all their hard work in organising the day.
It was a fantastic example of Scouts working together and living our values – developing skills for life, supporting one another and having a great time doing it.
