📣 We are proud to support the Market Harborough - LOROS - Bereavement Support Hub.

🌻 If you’re navigating loss, you don’t have to do it alone. The LOROS Bereavement Hubs offer free sessions where adults aged 18+ can access information, talk to trained volunteers, and connect with others who understand.

📍 Market Harborough – 2nd and 4th Monday each month
10 - 11.30 am, Market Harborough & The Bowdens Charity, 10 Fairfield Road, Market Harborough, LE16 9QQ.

🌻 No referral is needed. These sessions are supported by trained volunteers and open to anyone who has experienced bereavement, regardless of how long ago the loss was or the circumstances.

💛 We’re proud to support families with everyday essentials when they need it most.

😔 Difficulties can come at any time, such as illness, disability, unemployment, or family problems.

🌼 Here are some of the things we can provide:
White goods such as washing machines or fridges
Carpets and curtains
Furniture
Bedding
Household equipment
Mobility aids, including wheelchairs (not provided by the NHS)
Clothing and school uniforms
Travel costs to medical appointments
This list is not exclusive, and other items/services are considered.

👶 Home-start offers help through a combination of home-visiting support, group work, and courses via our projects: Family Postnatal Mental Wellbeing, Family Know How, and Play-Full Families.

✨ EDUCATION GRANTS ✨

At Market Harborough & The Bowdens Charity, we believe education has the power to change lives and our Education Grants can help make this possible.

From university study to vocational and creative training, these grants help local students take their next steps with confidence, removing financial barriers and opening doors to opportunity.

🎄 We wish you a very Happy Christmas from all staff and trustees at the Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity.

☃ We will be closed for Christmas from 24th Dec - 2nd January.
Our Phone line will still accept voice messages, and you can also send an email, which we will respond to in January.

🎄 We were thrilled to take part in this year's Christmas Tree Festival at St Dionysius Chuch.

🎄 Our wonderful tree was decorated by The Divergent School, Harborough, who rent an allotment from Market Harborough & The Bowdens Charity. The decorations celebrate their favourite teaching and learning place.

🎄 We would also like to give a big thank you to Grange Farm for donating the tree.
