A Choired Taste meets on Tuesday evenings in the Parish Rooms from 7pm, singing from 7.30 to 9pm. Rehearsals are lots of fun and prepare for performances like this one yesterday. Their next performance is at a concert in Newport on Friday 5th June (see their page for more info). No rehearsal on 2nd June, otherwise everyone is welcome to come along to try them out any week.

Our ladies loved singing at the Suffragette tea party this afternoon as part of History Week. A different​ audience and carefully chosen pieces including the Suffragettes' anthem 'The March of the Women'. We also had fun singing Sister Suffragette from Mary Poppins and were delighted to have everyone join in with it again as an encore. We changed our usual uniform to the purple, white and green sashes and also sported 'votes for women' rosettes. Thank you MD Museum for inviting us.
