Is your lap cold? Need an additional helper in work teams meetings? We have a solution for you.

We are looking for a long-term foster home for handsome Theodore “Ted”. Ted is a laid-back, friendly and confident tabby cat, who adores human company and barely gives anyone time to sit down before he’s curled up on their lap purring. Curious and playful, he especially loves to help if you’re on a computer. Ted will very kindly try to sit on the keyboard and loves being front and center in a work meeting. He is around twelve years young, however nobody seems to have told him! He loves to play and zooms around the house chasing his toy mice and pouncing on and off his cat tree. When he’s not chasing toy mice Ted can be found curled up snoozing the day away, and is a magnet to a radiator or sunny windowsill.

Being an older gentleman, Ted has some minor health issues which means he is for long term foster, which is the best of both worlds for his potential new family as all vet bills are taken care of by the rescue. He is positive for calicivirus, which means he occasionally has flare ups of a runny nose/sneezing but usually this doesn’t last long. Due to this, he must remain an indoor cat or have a secure catio, and must be the only cat in the household. He also takes a daily blood pressure tablet, which he hoovers up no problem with his evening meal.

Ted would love his new family to be at home a lot of the time as he absolutely loves human company, and wants nothing more than a warm lap. Ted could potentially be homed in a house with children, and has not been dog tested however this can be discussed due to his very laid back nature.

He is fully vaccinated, flea and wormed, and ready to meet his forever family to spoil him in his golden years. Could that be you?

What do you call a group of tabby kittens?

Chaos! 🤣

These little ones are 8 weeks old and full of mischief, energy, and endless antics.

As much as we all love kittens, the reality is that far too many are being born outside in feral colonies every year.

Many sadly don't survive beyond kittenhood due to illness, injury, hunger, or the harsh conditions they face.

These kittens are among the lucky ones. They were given the chance to be safe, cared for, and loved while they wait for their forever homes.

Every kitten deserves that opportunity. ❤️🐾

Neutering saves lives and helps prevent the endless cycle of unwanted litters. By neutering your cats, you're helping to reduce the number of kittens born into uncertain futures and easing the pressure on already overwhelmed rescues.

For every cute kitten you see, there are many more still waiting for help. 🐱💚

💙 A Mother's Love 💙

Sometimes all a kitten needs is the safety of mum's embrace.

This beautiful little one is growing stronger every day under the watchful eye of their devoted mum.

From keeping them warm to teaching them about the world, mum is there every step of the way.

The bond between a mother cat and her kittens is truly special, and moments like this remind us why we do what we do.

Every cat and kitten that comes into our care deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and protected.

If you'd like to support our rescue and help more families like this one, please consider donating, fostering, volunteering, or sharing our posts.

Every little bit helps. 💙🐾

Little Flame update 🧡

We had such a huge response to the little Facebook kitten that we thought we would give you all an update.

Thankfully, we now have the diarrhoea under control and, after a very scary few days of syringe feeding, Flame has finally started feeding by herself.

There is still a long way to go, but for the first time we are feeling hopeful ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, shared advice and supported this tiny girl along the way.

This is why you should never buy a kitten from Facebook, Gumtree, or a “friend of a friend.”

Adopt, don’t shop.

Yesterday we were contacted by someone who had purchased a kitten through a friend of a friend.

The kitten had diarrhoea on arrival, but they were told it was probably just stress from the journey. They were also told the kitten had been flea and worm treated with a Johnson’s product. The kitten was supposedly 8 weeks old.

As the diarrhoea continued and the kitten became increasingly lethargic, the new owner grew very concerned and contacted us for help.

Recognising this kitten needed urgent veterinary treatment, they made the difficult but responsible decision to surrender her into our care so she could get the emergency help she needed.

She was rushed straight to the emergency vets, where they estimated her true age to be around 5 weeks old — not 8 weeks.

We have named her Flame.
She still has a long road ahead, but she is now receiving supportive care and we are hoping for the very best for her.

Please, no judgement towards the owner. They absolutely did the right thing by reaching out for help and surrendering Flame so she could receive the treatment she desperately needed.
