What a lovely evening we had last night with Waterside Art Painting Events, everyone had a go at painting an owl. Each owl was different, Adele was very patient with us as she showed us different ways to use a brush to get the effect. A big thank you to everyone who came.

Dear members

The refurbishment team have worked their socks off during the last couple of months and we'd love you to see the results by joining us for our Quiz Night this Saturday 20th. Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start. £5 per person for teams of up to 6 - and if you haven't got a team just come along and there will be one you can join. First prize for winning team of £30, second prize of a tub of chocolates. And we will be holding a raffle too with some great prizes.

October's Saturday night events are on the 4th - Race Night - and on the 18th - Indian Food Night.

Race Night 4th October - doors open 7pm for the first race starting at 7.30pm. FREE ENTRY. £3 tote betting. We will be running a sports-themed raffle too. For anyone who would like to see their name on the wall in big letters, you can sponsor a race in advance of the night for £20 and name it whatever you like. Indian Food Night 18th October - doors open 7pm. A fabulous Indian-inspired three-course meal for £20 per person. Tickets must be booked and pre-paid in advance by Monday 13th October latest.
