Our PushPositive sessions this summer at the St John’s site 🌳! Our Junior Naturalist sessions which have sparked a new way of thinking about our environment for our future generation! With Katherine pursuing her Level 3 Forest School Leader training, we’re set for even more engaging, nature-filled activities. Let's nurture a love for the environment together while creating unforgettable memories in Fenland. 🌞

What a fantastic Tuesday with our Boundless Youth Theatre group! 🎭💫

Talented musician and producer, Arron Storey, guided the young performers through a series of energizing vocal warm-ups, truly getting their voices ready to shine! 🎤✨

Next up, Arron and Tom took the stage with the group, bringing classic 80's anthems to life in preparation for two exciting performances. Join us for the March Summer Festival on Sunday14th June and at the epic 80's night hosted by 20Twenty productions at the Braza club in July! Get ready to groove! 🎶💃

This is our first week of the Wisbech year 5 literary festival where we will meet 575 children from 14 schools in and around Wisbech. Monday we had the pleasure of Matty Long an author/illustrator we absolutely love to work with. The rest of the week the NIE cast of Once Upon a Time in Fenland have engaged and entertained the young historians with stories and songs of the Fens written with Fenland children. Our amazing partners Wisbech & Fenland Museum have delighted the children with a game that has them exploring artefacts and collections. Wisbech Library have supported the children to write acrostic poetry and create a poetry bird. Thanks to Wisbech Town Council and the Wisbech Castle team.

We held our Whittlesey Youth Theatre in the Scaldgate for many years. We met so many wonderful young people because of this group, including our Max who has now been part of our lives for 15 years. So many great projects, workshops, laughter and friendships. The young people of Whittlesey need this space, alongside all the Whittlesey community. ❤️

Now that you have remembered the fun you had at youthie, I wanted to make you aware of something. Phoenix youth provision had been running from Scaldgate, until asked to move out earlier this year. The county council is putting the building up for sale!
We at Phoenix are horrified at the thought of this building being taken away from our young people, and sold to who knows who for who knows what! Our young people deserve better than that, they need a safe space to meet, have fun, learn and grow.
We have successfully listed Scaldgate as an asset of community value, which slows the process down to give us time to try to raise the funds to buy it and keep as a community centre for local young people.
If you are as upset about this as we are, please help us to keep Scaldgate in any way you can, whether it be financial help, legal advice, solidarity, and so on!
Let’s get behind this as a community and save Scaldgate!
