FACT - Community Hub incorporating Community Fridge A welcome community fridge based within the FACT Community Hub open to the community so they have access to food surplus to help reduce food wastage.

You do not need a voucher. Sadly we do not have the funds or capacity to deliver. Our Community Fridge aims to reduce food waste and tackle food poverty. At our Community fridge anyone who lives nearby can exchange surplus food, including businesses. The Community fridge can be accessed by anyone in the community, it is not means tested and anyone can give to or receive food from the fridge! We ar

e able to support people with specific dietary requirements. Please message for additional information. We do not have the capacity or funds to deliver but we are happy for a friend to collect on your behalf.

We have some beautiful Plum Jam for sale at the Community Fridge - Please ask volunteers for a jar. Its £3 a jar and all profits will go to the Community Fridge.

We also stock fresh eggs that are for sale, again please ask. £2 a dozen and again all profits go to the Community Fridge.

I’m always happy to support local groups and businesses that are making a real difference in our community.

The Freckled Club is a wonderfully inclusive space that celebrates wellness inside and out, embracing diversity, body positivity and, most importantly, the power of connection.

I’ve been going to Pilates classes here and, despite some of my own struggles, I’ve always felt genuinely welcomed, comfortable and included.

So, if you can, why not give one of their classes or events a try? You might just find something — or a community — that you really enjoy.

Can you help? Would you like a day out and support some of our members - they don’t need a lot but sometimes struggle with confidence to walk around destination alone, help to order lunch, or just want to sit and chat over a coffee.

You would travel on our minibus with the group and can be collected from home
