Rules for photography competition

1. Photo must be taken in Nottinghamshire. One entry per person.

2. Entrants must live in Mansfield, Ashfield or Newark and Sherwood districts and it must be your photograph

3. No professional photographers or watermarks on images

4. Submit the image by email to [email protected]

5. Closing Date is 31st July 2026

6. Any age can enter as there are 2 categories - Under 18's and Adults.

7. All shortlisted images will be displayed digitally at our exhibition on Saturday 5th September 2026 at Clipstone Welfare

The weather is looking great for this weekend so why not get out and about in Nottinghamshire and take some picture.
Submit your best shot to us and be in for a chance if winner a £50 gift card and a framed copy of your image.
We will also be showing the shortlisted images at our exhibition on Saturday 5th July at Clipstone Welfare.
Any age can apply as we have categories for under 18's and adults.

Competition is open to residents of Mansfield, Ashfield and Newark and Sherwood districts.

💰FUNDING/SPONSERSHIP REQUIRED💰

Our up and coming Photography Exhibition is due to take place on Saturday 5th September 11-4pm at Clipstone Welfare.
We are seeking funding or sponsor ship from local business to support the prizes given to both the community and members for the winners of these competition.

If you feel you could help and support us, please get in touch and we'd be happy to promote your business at our event.

📷 COMPETITION TIME!!!📷
Entries are now being accepted for our community photography competition.

This years theme is.......
"Nottinghamshire through a lens" and must have been taken within the county of Nottinghamshire.

Anyone living in Mansfield, Ashfield and Newark and Sherwood districts can enter and we have categories for under 18's and adults.

Please email your entries to [email protected] with your name, address, age and where the photograph was taken to be in for a chance to win a £50 gift card. 2nd and 3rd place prizes will also be awarded.
Only one photo entry per person is allowed.

So get snapping!!!

Closing date for entries 31st July 2026.

Get your nominations in for your local unsung hero before its too late. We willbe shortlisting from 1st June and winners will be notified soon afterwards.
All shortlisted nominees will receive a photo shoot with us at Clipstone Welfare and the overall winner selected will win a £50 meal voucher for Andwhynot.

Here is a promotional video of our group done by Paul Boonham from Raw Edit Videography. Can't thank him enough for this. He is doing some free work to build up his portfolio at the minute so if your group needs something like this, I highly recommend him.
