Mansfield Soup Kitchen We’re at 32 Church Street Mansfield feeding the homeless every Wednesday from 6.30pm

We rely on community donations mainly to provide warmth and shelter to our communities homeless and most vulnerable. We may be called a Soup Kitchen but it's not often we actually give out soup, we've had pies to pasta bakes, cooked breakfast to chilli con carne, we aim to give a good hearty meal and food to take away as well as toiletries, tents, sleeping bags, camping stoves, hot water bottles e

tc, basically anything for warmth and a bit of comfort especially now it is getting so cold on a night.

Is anyone going camping this summer?

If so, when you’re digging out all the gear if there’s anything you think needs upgrading or replacing would you consider donating your old stuff to us please? We are getting asked for sleeping bags already and they’ll be even more in need of them when it starts getting colder. So if you’re wondering what to do with your old ones then could you please consider us.

Busy night tonight, it was curry, rice and naan bread for tea along with ice cream sundaes after, luckily we’d cooked loads as there was a queue for seconds and thirds, there were a lot of happy faces and full bellies!

Huge thank you to Greg’s Fish Bar for donating chips last night, we had chippy tea with fish, kebab meat and mushy peas, followed by ice cream sundaes to cool people off a bit.
