๐ An update from Jasmineโs fundraising challenge
We have a little bit of sad news to share. After putting so much into her training, Jasmine has had to withdraw from the Bedford Half Marathon because of an injury. ๐
But we are excited to announce she will be running the London Landmarks half marathon instead on 4th April 2027!
We know how much she was looking forward to taking on the challenge, particularly after starting running only a few months ago and smashing her original ยฃ1,000 fundraising target.
But this isn't the end of Jasmine's fundraising journey. ๐โโ๏ธ๐ช
Jasmine is working hard with her physio to get her running shoes back on, to continue her challenge for S.H.E. UK. We couldn't ask for more from someone who has already given so much of her time and energy to supporting survivors as one of our volunteer therapists.
And to everyone who has already donatedโฆ
Thank you. Truly. ๐
We know some people may be wondering what happens to the money they've already donated now that Jasmine isn't able to take part in the race.
Your donations are still supporting S.H.E. UK. The money raised through Jasmine's fundraising campaign will come to the charity and will help us continue our work supporting survivors.
Don't worry, your donations will be held in her Just Giving account for us and the total will continue to build as we head towards the spring. All money raised through Jasmine's fundraising campaign will come to the charity and will help us continue our work supporting survivors, whether previously donated or donated in the future.
For now, our priority is getting Jasmine back on her feet. We'll be cheering her on when she's ready to take on her challenge again!
Get well soon, Jasmine ๐
And to everyone who donated, shared her story or cheered her on: thank you for being part of Jasmine's journey and supporting S.H.E. UK. ๐
