Lunch Group Christmas Lunch
What a day we had! All staff and volunteers had lunch with our lunch group on Thursday preceded by a visit from our Mayor who presented a cheque for £12,657.60 to fund our new heaters in the Hall. He then became an apprentice bingo caller - don't give up your day job! Cards for cash, cash bingo, 2 course lunch, raffle, presents for everyone then more cash bingo! A great day enjoyed by all.

Christmas lights Switch on!
Carol Service, then Santa arrived, then the lights switched on, then refreshments and food! What a great evening. Well done to all staff (who volunteered their time last night), all trustees and families of trustees who volunteered - all helping to make it a special night. Thanks to Forest Town Arena for donating the food and gifts, to Rev. Phil Stead for the Carol Service and the Community choir for their performance.

Tuesday BINGO!!!!!!
We start again this Tuesday 13th May. 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Cash Bingo. 2 Sessions comprising of 6 games.
Costs: If you play 3 tickets each game the cost will be £6.00 per session. There are 2 sessions so the cost for playing with 3 tickets each game would be £12.00.
If you only play 1 ticket per game the cost will be £2.00 per session = £4.00 for 2 sessions
If you play a full sheet of 6 tickets the cost would be £12.00 per session = £24.00 for 2 sessions.
The more that play - the bigger the prize money!
Teas and coffees available at the break only £1.00 per cup!

Emotional Attachment
Talking with a couple of locals whilst fitting the plaques in the Community Garden I was asked to share the link to a short story book giving the background as to why Kingsway Hall is so important to me. It's free if you have kindle unlimited. My brother's plaque is in the Memorial Garden.

30 Minutes Free Parking
Further to requests we have now installed a blue sign at the entrance of the car park confirming the first 30 minutes are free. There is no need for a smartphone - no need to log on. As long as your vehicle leaves the car park within 30 minutes of arrival there will be no parking charge.
