Today was the High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire's Summer Party for Young Carers.
Some amazing activities, games and prizes, a real treat.
The new Sheriff shared some beautiful words -

"This event is a chance to shine a light on an amazing group of children,
Thank you to young carers, for looking after your family, this day is all about you and celebrating all you do"

So many thank yous to everyone who helped make today possible ❤️❤️

Well, it was a rather warm but fabulous week! Some of our young carers tried their hand at fishing, den building and games, sky trail, trampolining and with a few youth groups thrown in too! Phew... Time for a rest everyone - we'll get back to it on Monday ❤️

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Heart Church in Nottingham for putting together a brilliant picnic and games afternoon for our young carers in the City earlier this week ❤️❤️❤️

💜 Did you know that our youth service is young carer friendly?

As part of carers week, we are celebrating the continued recognition after being awarded the young carer friendly quality mark for the second time.

We're really proud to have received the award again. Our partnership with Nottinghamshire Carers Association and Young Carers Notts means we can continue to make Nottinghamshire a place where young carers are understood, supported and included.
