Are you a carer aged between 16 and 25 years? If so we have a support group for you!

We are working in partnership with Young Carers Notts to offer carers an opportunity to come together, support each other and share their experiences, if you would like to be a part of this community, please contact the Carers Hub for more information

We are also hosting a special Carers Week event for Young Carers on Thursday 11th June. You can find out more below.

💜 Did you know that our youth service is young carer friendly?

As part of carers week, we are celebrating the continued recognition after being awarded the young carer friendly quality mark for the second time.

We're really proud to have received the award again. Our partnership with Nottinghamshire Carers Association and Young Carers Notts means we can continue to make Nottinghamshire a place where young carers are understood, supported and included.

It's been a busy half term at Young Carers Notts this week...An epic battle of Laser tag, 2 cinema trips, a bike ride and picnic in Sherwood Pines, exploring in Sherwood Forest, ice skating at Donny Dome, climbing at the Mill base in Mansfield...
A huge thank you to everyone who helped us have such a brilliant time - and to all our young carers - hope you enjoy a lovely weekend in the sunshine before heading back to school on Monday :)

Today a group of young carers went to visit the Knife Angel in Newark. Thought provoking and moving, it encouraged us all to talk about the dangers and worries we have about knife crime and our hope for peace in the Future. Thanks to the community engagement team in Newark for supporting us with our visit.

We know at the moment year 11 students are studying hard and beginning to take some of their exams over the next few weeks. It can be a really stressful time, and for some of our young carers - it can be a real jugging act to ensure time for revision and time caring for loved ones.

There is lots of support out there, mind have some great top tips.

Get exam stress tips to help you cope with stress before, during and after school or college exams. It's important to look after your mental wellbeing.

One of our supporters has helped to raise money today by completing the London matharon! Huge congratulations Jenn Carr for completing a personal best of 5 hours and 38 minutes! Young Carers Notts is over the moon to be one of your chosen destinations for money raised 😊😊
