Eyes down ready for celebrating our 15th birthday !

As part of our Charity's event to celebrate our 15th birthday on Saturday 20th June from 1-4pm at Ladybrook Community Centre (NG18 5JJ) we will have free prize bingo as well as a family quiz, party games and a chance to come together and celebrate.

Entry is free and everyone is welcome !

Answer : Our free family quiz as part of our birthday celebration .

Come along on Saturday 20th June from 1-4pm here at Ladybrook Community Centre (NG18 5JJ) and take part in our free quiz, alongside prize bingo and traditional party games we will be hosting an afternoon of free fun for all of the family.

Everyone that comes along gets a free drink and cake (subject to availability)* and a chance to join in with our free activities and win some great prizes as well as helping us to celebrate our 15th year as a registered charity making a difference to the lives of people living in Mansfield.

Friday Thank You!

As Volunteers Week 2026 comes to a close we would like to take the opportunity to thank our amazing team of volunteers here at Brighter Mansfield.

In the last year formal volunteers recorded a whopping 1046.15 hours of their time here in activities and services at Ladybrook Community Centre. Those hours have contributed to making sure that everyone that comes along to our sessions feels welcomed and safe and that our charity's building and groups can continue to run.

In addition to these hours there are 100s more carried out every year informally by people supporting our charity - including those that share our information with their networks, spread the word about our work, deliver leaflets, wash up pots at the end of their session, do a little pruning in the garden on their way in and current group members welcoming new people into sessions and making sure they feel welcome : these small acts of volunteering also make a big difference and help everything to run as smoothly as possible.

Without the dedication of our volunteers we would struggle to meet the needs of our community and they really are a vital part of our charity team!

CAN YOU HELP US CELEBRATE OUR BIRTHDAY?

We are looking for photo prop donations for our photo station at our Charity's 15th birthday celebration which is being held on Saturday 20th June here at Ladybrook Community Centre.

If you have any spare photo props laying around gathering dust at home from past celebrations we would love to receive them as donations for this and future events : think fancy dress masks, hats, glasses, wigs etc.

If you would like to make a donation please drop off at Ladybrook Community Centre (NG18 5JJ What 3 Words : trail.winter.toys) Monday - Thursday between 9am and 6pm or on a Friday between 9.30am and 4pm
