Yesterday we held our AGM at The The Hostess Restaurant
In the last 12 months we raised over £25,000 for the local hospitals that we support.

On the 6th of April 2006 we opened the doors of our Sutton shop for the first time, it was for a six month trial and 20 years on and we are still here building something worthwhile for our community and the patients of our hospitals.
At the heart of it all are our loyal staff and customers who tirelessly
work to support our charity whether it be volunteering in the shop or fundraising events, purchasing and donating.
Our support is strong and we have many customers who look forward to our fundraising events year after year or simply love to just come in to our shop for a browse and a chat.
Whatever your contribution, big or small it makes up the fundraising family and for that, we thank you.

All inpatients in King's Mill, Newark and Mansfield Community hospitals, will receive a gift today, thanks to funding generously provided by the League of Friends (Mansfield & Sutton) and the Friends of Newark Hospital.

Join Vicky McClure’s renowned ‘Our Dementia Choir’ for a special performance at Mansfield Civic Centre this November, this November, which will end with a performance by local dance company Sidds Studio.

The evening has been kindly organised by Bluebird Care Mansfield & Ashfield and promises to provide a musical journey filled with joy and laughter. A chance to celebrate those living with dementia whilst raising vital funds for the Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charity's dementia services fund.

Taking place on Saturday 15 November, 4.30pm – 6.30pm, tickets for the event cost £10. They can be purchased by visiting the Community Involvement Hub in the main entrance at King’s Mill Hospital or calling 01623 287956.

Following our Fashion show / summer lunch held at The Hostess Restaurant a couple of weeks ago I am happy to inform you that the sum of just over £3200 has been raised.
Many thanks to all who attended, The Hostess Restaurant, for the venue, and a lovely lunch, and of course the ladies who organised everything and those who did the fashion show.
