They are launching their Gift of Safety winter campaign to raise vital funds for the protection of women and children escaping domestic abuse.
Safety really is the most precious gift a survivor can receive.

🍎 We’ve set ourselves a delicious community challenge! 🍎
Last week, thanks to funding from the Gemini Fund and Forever Notts our Wild Wellies gang turned apples harvested from the community garden into 40 tasty apple crumbles to share locally. Our mission now: to see just how many more we can make and give away!
Wild Wellies provides free outdoor activities for children and young people at the community garden every week. Come along after school and join the fun—every Thursday, 3.30–5pm!

Here at Forever Notts we are celebrating the remarkable work taking place across Nottinghamshire as we prepare to mark our 30th anniversary in 2027.
Local charities and community groups were invited to share photographs capturing what they love about their work and the people they support. The response produced a wonderful collection of images celebrating friendship, kindness, creativity, confidence and community.
Three photographs were selected for the top prizes:
Winner – £1,000: Greenwood Riding for the Disabled. Shane and Ruby captured the special relationship between the pair and the joy and connection that can come through the organisation’s work.
Second place – £500: Wild Things
Two girls with bows and arrows reflected the organisation’s work helping children and young people develop confidence, skills and a love of the outdoors.
Third place – £300: Shifting Your Mindset
A girl litter picking demonstrated how individuals can make a positive contribution to their own communities and surroundings.
A further 18 organisations were named runners-up, each receiving a £50 donation. Together, the photographs provide a colourful snapshot of the huge range of community activities taking place across Nottinghamshire – supporting children and older people, developing skills, caring for the environment and bringing people together.
Our CEO Nina Dauban said:
“We want to celebrate the people and organisations who are making a difference locally and are often unseen. Every photograph tells a story of people connecting, supporting one another and making their communities better places to live. We have supported all of these groups and give to many more through the generous donations of local people."
Since its creation in 1997, Forever Notts has distributed millions of pounds in small grants supporting communities and good causes across Nottinghamshire.
