We're currently recruiting volunteers to help us support young people across Nottingham City and the surrounding areas.
No experience needed as full training is given!

To get started, join our "How to Work with Young People" Training.

Two days packed with practical skills, insight, and confidence-building for anyone supporting young people.

These skills will help you in all areas of your life too!

📅 12th & 13th September 2026
🕙 10am – 5pm (you'll need to attend both days)
📍 27–31 Carlton Road, Nottingham

We are looking for volunteers who want to make a genuine impact to young people within their community.

100% of previous participants would recommend our training to others!

Last year Tenfity received funding from our Thomas Farr Fund and they delivered a year long DJ development project for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. Helping them to build technical skills, confidence, independence and opportunities for creative expression. Taking part in DJ training sessions where they learned the core skills needed to mix music, use professional DJ equipment, understand tempo and transitions, create playlists and develop their own individual performance style. The highlight of the project was their silent disco, where every participant performed an individual DJ set. Providing an inclusive platform for each person to showcase their skills they had developed throughout the year, celebrating their achievements and hard work, demonstrating increased confidence, independence and resilience. Performing solo also encouraged participants to take ownership of their sets, manage equipment and engage with audiences in a personal way.
