I've been asked by a relative of Stan Broadhurst, who was killed during WWII to try to find out who is leaving artificial flowers at his grave.
It's a kind gesture but he is very puzzled by it. It would be nice to find out who it is.

Does anyone have photos of the interior of St. Chad's church, Pleasley Vale - recent, or from the past - that they are willing to contribute to the Heritage Link for a display in Mansfield Woodhouse library?

I am looking for relatives of Kenneth Northern, who was born in 1925.

His brother, Samuel took part in the raid on Dieppe in August 1940 as a member of the 40Royal Marine Commando Unit. Unfortunately, Samuel was killed during the raid.

I have information from the Notts County Council Roll of Honour, and from the CWGC. I would like to find out any family details if possible.

Come and visit our undercover stand at the Millennium Green event on Welbeck Road Mansfield Woodhouse on Sunday 3rd May 10 - 3.30. We have information regarding the Greens history with photos past and present (thanks Geoff Stockdale) but what l really want is your memories of how you used the Green. I remember sledging, bet you do too - got photos of this? Also the Donkey Steps - we think we know why they are called that but others disagree, you might too.
