Mangotsfield Rainbows had a fantastic day celebrating World Thinking Day with other members of Girlguiding Kingswood North Division. We did lots of activities, including making friendship bracelets, flags, campfire decorations, listened to friendship stories from longstanding Guiders, decorated candle jars and enjoyed an African drumming workshop. Thank you to all the organisers and helpers who supported the event 🤩

This term at Thursday Rainbows we will be working towards our Skills for My Future award. Last week the Rainbows used their creativity to design some amazing inventions, using objects that we had at the Hall. Their inventions included a helper robot, a machine that you added something to the top and out came whatever you wanted, and there was even a machine that could create puppies 🤩 The Rainbows also practised their cutting and gluing skills to create their own robot craft, which will be finished this week.

We had a lovely return to Rainbows for our new term last night, including welcoming some new Rainbows. As well as playing some games, we talked about our wider Girlguiding family and then made a wonderful collage of pictures to display at the Hall. Well done to all the Rainbows who were really creative - the finished result looks amazing 🤩

Fantastic end of term trip today to see Zootropolis 2 at the cinema - the Rainbows had lots of fun. Not only was the film fantastic but we also loved the luxurious seats!!
