The Carers Manchester Network has created a programme of free relaxing breaks for unpaid carers in Manchester.

From local walks and wellbeing sessions, to cultural experiences and day trips – find something for you on our website (link in comments).

More breaks are still in the works, so keep an eye out for further announcements!

Growing Manchester : Gardening for Wellbeing Service

Growing Manchester are thrilled to announce our new wellbeing courses taking place across the city this autumn. Each course combines hands-on horticulture and naturecrafts with opportunities to connect with others and observe the changing seasons. Participants will take home free handmade crafts while learning about the healing power of the natural world. Courses starting in September are taking place at Broadhurst Community Garden, Blackley Forest, Dandelion Community, and The NEPHRA Allotment, with more dates and locations to be added soon.

Who Can Attend?
Anyone resident in Manchester struggling with any of the following health challenges is eligible:

• Anxiety or stress
• Low confidence or low mood
• Social isolation & lack of community connection
• Low physical activity levels
• Disconnection from nature
• Bereavement
