✈️ Join 1005 (Radcliffe & Whitefield) Squadron RAF Air Cadets as a Civilian Instructor! ✈️

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help inspire the next generation. As a Civilian Instructor, you’ll play a key role in supporting cadet training, activities, and events - from adventurous training and fieldcraft to leadership and STEM.

What you’ll do:
✅ Share your skills and experiences with young people
✅ Support classroom-based and practical training
✅ Help deliver an exciting and rewarding cadet programme
✅ learn new skills, achieving accredited qualifications
✅ make new friends
✅ find new experiences you didn’t imagine!

Requirements:
🔹 Age 20+
🔹 Enthusiastic, reliable, and a good role model
🔹 No previous military experience required (full training provided)
🔹 Willing to undergo Enhanced DBS check and security clearance

This is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer, build new skills, and make a real difference in your community.

🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ATC!🎉

Today marks the 85th Anniversary of the formation of the Air Training Corps (ATC), which was created on 5th February 1941 after the Royal Warrant was signed by His Late Majesty King George VI, being born out of its predecessor the Air Defence Cadet Corps (ADCC).

The modern RAF Air Cadets (RAFAC) combines the ATC with the RAF Sections of the Combiner Cadet Force (CCF) as one Blue Family!

The Air Cadets could be just what you’re looking for!

As a cadet, you’ll have the chance to:

🏕️ Go on camps, trips, and outdoor adventures
