What an inspiring morning with One Education!

Today we had the pleasure of hosting an Educational Psychologist workshop in collaboration with RANi, delivered by the wonderful team at One Education. A huge thank you to the team for sharing their knowledge with such clarity, compassion, and expertise.

And to our incredible parents and carers who attended - thank you.

Your bravery, honesty, and thoughtful questions made the session truly meaningful. It takes strength to show up, learn, and advocate for your children, and we are so proud of every single one of you ❤️

Together, we are building confidence, understanding, and stronger support for our children.

Together, we are creating change.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

More workshops coming soon, Insha Allah - stay tuned!

Grief in SEND parenting doesn't always look like you'd expect.

It's watching your child struggle and knowing you can't fix it.

It's understanding exactly what they need while watching systems fail to provide it.

It's the exhaustion of constant advocacy with Local Authorities who don't seem to understand - or don't want to understand.

It's the isolation of feeling like you're fighting alone, even when you're surrounded by people.

This week has been heavy with all of these things. And I'm reminded that even when you work in this field, even when you support other families through similar experiences, your own grief doesn't get smaller. Sometimes it just gets more complicated.

If you're carrying this weight today - I see you. 💙

Just a gentle reminder to please register and send in your questions for the Educational Psychologist before our session...

*What a Wonderful RANi Session!*

Today’s session, “Exploring Types of Schools and Support for SEND Children”, held at Al-Hilal Hubb, was a huge success, Alhamdulillah!

This event was a beautiful collaboration between *RANi,* *One Education*, and *Manchester Parent Carer Forum (MPCF)*- all coming together with one shared goal: to empower parents with the knowledge and confidence to navigate their child’s educational journey.

Parents explored the different types of school placements available for SEND children - from mainstream and specialist schools to resource provisions and gained valuable insights into how to access the right support for their families.

A heartfelt thank you to Audrey, Educational Psychologist from One Education, and MPCF for their time, compassion, and expertise.

It was truly inspiring to see parents engaging, asking questions, and supporting one another. Together, we’re breaking barriers and building stronger, more informed SEND communities. 🙌

Keep an eye out for our next RANi session - more empowering conversations to come.
