✨ The first designs are in ✨

A massive day for Session Four at the Manchester Histories Hub! We’ve officially finalised the initial drafts for our first set of panels. Seeing these stories move from the archives to the drawing board has been incredible! They will now head to our design team to serve as the creative spark for the final panels. 🤩

But the work doesn’t stop there—we’ve already started the next patch of research, diving into a fresh set of themes to uncover even more of Manchester’s hidden history. 🔍

Thank you to everyone who brought their energy and ideas today. We’re already counting down to next week!

🧵 Research Session One Wrap Up 🧵

Yesterday, we officially launched our research phase with an incredible energy. We kicked things off with an invitation to dream big, led by the legendary Andrew Crummy. He reminded us that a tapestry isn’t just about the thread—it’s about the open invitation for a community to tell its own story. A huge thank you to Andrew for setting such a powerful tone. 🙌🏻

Following the talk, our participants dived straight into the "drafting" process. We saw history, personal stories, and city-wide themes collide as people from all walks of Manchester shared their perspectives. Design is a conversation, and yesterday, that conversation was electric. 📝

What’s next?
* Check your inbox: If you signed up, an email with essential info and theme clarifications is on its way to you.
* Keep digging: Don't let the research stop! Feel free to continue exploring your themes at your own pace.
* Stay tuned: We’ll be sharing more about our timelines and deep-dives into the themes right here and on our blog.

We are so proud of what started yesterday. If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry—the canvas is still open. Join us for our next session! Secure your spot for next week via the Eventbrite link in our bio.
