Meet Dundee! 🧡🐾
Dundee is a 3-year-old, 52 lb Australian Shepherd who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This handsome boy is the total package for someone looking for an active, loyal, and fun-loving companion!

Dundee is sweet, social, and incredibly devoted to his people. He’s got that classic Aussie brain—smart, eager to learn, and eager to please—which means he’s going to thrive with someone who enjoys training and building a strong bond with their dog.

He’s also an active, playful guy who loves other dogs and enjoys a good, rough-and-tumble play style. Because of this, he’d do best with a canine companion who can match his energy and play style, though he could also do fine as an only dog with continued socialization.

Dundee is strong and athletic, so he’ll need a confident handler who can set clear boundaries and keep up with his energy. He would love an active lifestyle filled with adventures—running, hiking, exploring—and plenty of mental stimulation to keep his sharp mind engaged.

He is also quite the climber and can scale fences, so a securely fenced yard or large property (and AirTags) would be best for him.

Dundee is looking for a home that will embrace his energy, continue his training, and give him the structure and activity he thrives on.

Meet Yin!

Yin is a 3-month-old Border Collie, Australian shepherd mix with a bright spirit and a heart full of love. She weighs about 23 lbs! She and her brother, Yang, were found abandoned on the streets of Romania—two tiny puppies left to fend for themselves. With no one coming for them, they were placed on the euthanasia list before their lives had even really begun. We couldn’t let that be the end of their story.

Yang has been adopted but Yin is still waiting for a family! Yin is the more outgoing of the two siblings. She’s curious about the world around her, playful, and always ready for a little adventure. Whether she’s bouncing around during playtime or curling up for a cozy nap, Yin brings so much sweetness everywhere she goes. And after all that exploring? Her favorite thing is still snuggling up close.

This adorable girl is ready to leave her past behind and start the life every puppy deserves—with a family who will love her forever.

She has the most precious white mark on her head in the shape of a heart. She is such a special girl with so much love to give!

🚨 Calling all fosters for couch potatoes!! 🛋️🐾

Our girl Penelope the pittie is looking for a temporary place to crash — just 2 weeks to 1 month starting this weekend💛

Penelope has been one of our long-term residents, and honestly… we’re completely baffled as to why. She is the definition of a couch potato 💤 full of nothing but love.

She settles right into a home like she’s always belonged there — snoozing on the couch while you’re away and ready for cuddles when you’re back.

If you’ve been following Penelope’s journey since she came to us in March 2024, you know she survived some of the most heartbreaking conditions we’ve ever seen. And now, 2 years later, she’s still waiting… but we know her person (or perfect foster!) is out there.

She’s looking for a short-term foster while her long-term foster becomes available again — or even better… a forever home 🏡

A couple things to note:

✨ She does not have a tongue (which just makes her even more special!)
✨ She would prefer a kitty-free home

“At first this sweet girl can be timid, but when she opens up you’ll be rewarded with a love that is beyond compare. She just wants to be near you and will nudge your hand for pets or crawl into your lap for a hug. She does well in her crate when left alone or overnight and she is house trained. On walks she’ll stay at your heel on the right side when she feels uncertain but she is getting more and more confident in her exploration every day - she is even beginning to take the lead sometimes. She is still getting used to public spaces+loud noises and she can be wary of strangers, but I have no doubt with patience and time she will blossom into a social butterfly. She’s gone from shaking with fear on my lap to explorations of the grass with no shaking. With other dogs she is not shy to communicate her boundaries but does not seem reactive overall. If anything, she could use an adopter with a confident/vetted leader dog to teach her how to “dog.” In the short time I’ve had her she has started to show her personality in the occasional zoomies. She is not very food motivated - I’ve been leaving her kibbles out and she’ll just eat/graze when she feels like it. We’ve been working on sit and come commands with her treats (she LOVES those). She even patiently lets me wipe down her paws and hygiene areas every time we come in from outside.”
🏡 Ideal Home:
Noor would do best in a calm, understanding home that will let her adjust at her own pace and celebrate her small wins along the way. A gentle environment—possibly with a confident canine companion—would help her continue gaining confidence and feeling secure.

Danny is a handsome 14 week old, 14.5 lbs mixed breed pup. We estimate he’ll be around 55 lbs full grown. Danny gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, sleeps soundly in his crate at night, and during the day, he’s working on potty training and learning to walk on a leash. He loves playing with his toys and other dogs, running around, exploring, cuddling with his humans, and soaking up all the love and attention he can get. Look at our strong stunning boy Waffles! This boy is gaining his strength back and finally able to be his true puppy self. He had recheck X-rays this week on his lungs and the vet is confident with another couple weeks of antibiotics he’ll have kicked this thing for good! 🥹💪

We’re now accepting applications for this very special boy. At just 6 months old and 40 lbs, Waffles is a sweet Shepherd mix who has proven he’s as resilient as he is lovable.

Waffles has a gentle, kind presence. He’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, always happiest when he’s close to his people. With a naturally calm energy, he’s content lounging by your side or quietly playing with his favorite stuffed animals.
