Whalley Range Community Forum WHALLEY RANGE COMMUNITY FORUM shares information and brings people together ❤️ Activities are focused on supporting people to feel connected to their community.

Whalley Range Community Forum supports and works with residents to create a stronger community and to reduce isolation by providing a wide range of activities and conversation to increase participation. Activities provided include regular classes, talk English beginners, tai chi, afternoon tea for older residents, keep fit for women, and basic computer classes. We became a registered charity in De

cember 2016 in recognition of our increasing work as a service provider. The Forum holds meetings every other month for local community groups and residents to meet with those who serve Whalley Range e.g. Police and Councillors, to address local issues such as crime and safety, planning applications and any other issues that residents and the Forum may be concerned about. The Forum supports residents to report hate crimes and distributes food bank vouchers. The Forum also supports new local groups to establish themselves, helping them to develop a track record so that they are able to apply for funding in their own right. We also facilitate Age-Friendly Whalley Range and Chorlton to work directly with older people to help shape the events and services we offer.

Are you a new parent looking to meet other parents, make new friends and enjoy a relaxed couple of hours with your little one? Come along to The Corner Hub’s new Parent & Baby Group!

Join them for a friendly, informal get-together where you can chat, socialise and share experiences with other new parents, all while enjoying a delicious coffee and some of our homemade cakes.
