Peer Support - The University of Manchester

Peer Support is a student-led programme which offers support to all undergraduate first years at UoM Peer Mentoring mainly aims to offer pastoral guidance.

Peer Support offers two support systems for Undergraduate first years, PASS and Peer Mentoring, dependent on discipline. All Peer Mentors and PASS Leaders receive extensive training to prepare them for their role. The Mentors are trained to offer support and share their experiences to ease the transition to University life. PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) is an internationally recognised programme where students from higher years are trained to enable them to facilitate the learning of others. First years are assigned leaders and participate in weekly study sessions. For more details, message us or contact [email protected]. www.peersupport.manchester.ac.uk
