This group has been set up with the aim of tackling loneliness and social isolation amongst older people. This group will be supported by a network of volunteers offering regular and vital friendship links. Meaning over the months aquaintances can turn into friendships and loneliness is replaced by companionship. This group will offer a lifeline of friendship for our members who have little or no

contact with family or friends. Bringing people of all ages together with the opportunity to develop friendships and support networks within the local community
