I wanted to take a quick moment to say a few (nice) things as we wrap up 2025 and head into 2026.
Some of you may already know this, but I was recently elected as Chairperson for MancFurs.
It’s an absolute privilege and an honour, and I’m incredibly excited to help bring MancFurs forward into a bigger and better future. 💙
When I first started attending MancFurs back in mid-2018, it never crossed my mind that I’d one day help run the meets I loved attending.
Getting the chance to give back to this community now really means a lot to me.
(Cue the inevitable “Doughnut is staff at every event” joke… I’ll wait!) 😄
First up, a huge thank-you to our previous Chairpersons, Obsolete Goat and Zin (Seb).
Both were instrumental in shaping MancFurs into what it is today, and we’re forever grateful for their efforts. We wish them all the best with future opportunities. ❤️
Thank you as well to our amazing and dedicated volunteers — you’re the reason MancFurs works month after month.
From running the fursuit lounge to helping attendees, your support makes all the difference. 🐾
A massive thank-you to our incredible core staff team too.
The behind-the-scenes work you do provides this community with a regular event and a safe, welcoming space for furries across the UK — and it never goes unnoticed. 💪✨
And finally… thank you.
Thank you to everyone who comes along to our events and continues to support MancFurs, helping make it one of the largest regular furmeets in the UK.
We genuinely couldn’t do this without you. ❤️
