✨ Another lovely afternoon at The Quiet Space ✨
Today we painted treasure chests, built with Lego, shared snacks, and spent time chatting and connecting in a relaxed, low-pressure space.
Some young people got creative with paints and decorations, others focused on building, and some simply enjoyed having somewhere safe to talk and be themselves. It’s always wonderful seeing friendships grow naturally through shared activities and conversation.
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make today feel so welcoming and calm 💜

As we still haven't managed to secure any funding, we are running on very limited resources and using money from our own pockets to keep on providing a safe space for our Teens.

This week we’re getting creative with pastel feathers and fluffy creatures 🖍️
We’ll be having a go at creating soft, colourful feather drawings and fluffy creaturesIt’s all nice and relaxed, no pressure at all, just come along and have a go at your own pace.
As always, there’ll be snacks and a calm space to sit, chat, and just be yourself.
📍 Fridays, 1–5pm

We’ll be at the car boot sale at Buile Hill Park in Salford this Sunday raising funds for The Quiet Space 💛
If you’re heading down, come and find us. We’ll have loads of bits for £2 and under, so perfect if you like a bargain (or just fancy a rummage).
Everything we raise goes back into running our weekly sessions for young people who need a calmer, low-pressure place to just be themselves.
Even if you don’t need anything, popping by for a chat or sharing this would really help us out.

This week we’ll be making Shrinky D***s 🎨
Everyone will design and colour their own pieces during the session. I’ll take them home to bake (as they need an oven), and bring them back next week ready to collect.
It’s always a bit of magic seeing how they shrink and harden 🔥

This Friday at The Quiet Space thanks to our 'Go Fund Me' we’re making paint swipe cats! It's a really simple, low-pressure craft using paint and a bit of creativity.
There’s no right or wrong way to do it. Some will turn into cats, some into something completely different, and that’s exactly the point 😹 just have fun!
As always, there’s no expectation to join in. You can take part, sit alongside, or just come for the calm and company.
Everything is provided, just come as you are 😁
