“The University of Manchester IEEE Student Branch” running since May 2003 as UMIST IEEE and since October 2004 as it is now. The branch is located in the Electromagnetics Centre in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Manchester. Currently, the branch comprises of Electronic Devices (ED) and Microwave Theory & Techniques (MTT) joint technical chapters.
