MORE ESSENTIALS NEEDED

We’re running very low on essential items for our homeless friends, particularly men’s underwear and thin jogging bottoms for the warmer weather.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to the amazing team at City Streets for everything you do to support people experiencing homelessness across Manchester.

Seeing one of my Bags of Kindness being passed on to someone who needs it reminds me why I started this mission. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a difference.

Thank you for helping make sure these bags reached the people who needed them most. Together, we can help make sure no one is left behind. 🥹💛

A slow start on Friday afternoon, which became very busy shortly after.

Nearly all our supply of tops, jogging bottoms, underwear and socks were given to our homeless friends.

PARKING IN MANCHESTER: CAN YOU HELP?

When taking clothes to the homeless in Manchester City centre, we have to park our cars on the outskirts, to save money and to find spaces more easily.

However, we’re carrying large, heavy holdalls into town, and then around the city centre. Every volunteer in the group is 60 or over. So we really need parking closer to the City centre.

If anyone has any parking spaces to donate for up to 3 afternoons a month, we’d be hugely grateful. 🙏🐝🩵

A sunny, very warm Thursday afternoon in Manchester City centre. An extremely busy one too. We gave away nearly all the T-shirts, tracksuit bottoms, underwear, socks and toiletries to our homeless friends, who were pleased to see us and grateful as always.

We’re back in Manchester City centre on Thursday, giving clothing and toiletries to our homeless friends.
