Meet our Studio Artist and Co-Director of Rogue Artists Studios, David Gledhill, ahead of our Open Studios on Saturday 19th September.

David’s paintings begin with printed paper snapshots discovered in flea markets. He is fascinated by the way ordinary people experience history, using these found images to offer glimpses into lives shaped by circumstances beyond their control.

Come and discover David’s work, alongside artists across the studios, at our Open Studios on Saturday 19th September.

Meet our Studio Artist, Michael McGinley, ahead of our Open Studios on Saturday.

Michael McGinley investigates how systems of imaging construct our understanding of reality. Working across photography, AI, archives, fieldwork and installation, his projects examine the changing relationship between visibility, technology, memory and place.

The work on display in the Rogue Open Studios exhibition, The Return, is part of an ongoing project called If It Hadn’t Rained.

Examining the impact of technological imaging on the human psyche, the work operates in a space where historical memory is both invoked and destabilised.

The inaugural exhibition of the work took place in Derry with Inner City Arts in May and will be published with Abridged Press in May 2027.

✨ Meet our Studio Artist, Sarah Feinmann at Open Studios on Saturday 19th September.

Sarah explores the marginal sites found at the periphery of the urban environment. Drawn to the geometric and architectural structure of a Brutalist spiral ramp, she reinterprets it through fluid paint, gestural mark-making and layered collage.
