To get the healthcare we deserve…. What do we need?

We’ve worked with lots of different women to create our short film ‘Why aren’t we talking about Women’s Health?’

The groups opened up about periods, discharge, fertility, menopause and a range of health issues they experience. We want to stop these conversations being taboo and think creativity is a great way to do this.

We also talked about what we want for the future and what all women deserve!

Join us on Weds 20th May to see the film and join in open, creative conversations and action around women’s health!

What a great morning at Urmston Library with sharing our experiences of projects with Trafford organisations and artists.

Was great to reflect back on our creative heritage project, Mothers in Crisis, and how it’s led to our current work we’re exploring around Women’s Health…

Thanks to Maria for inviting us to be part of the event and to staff for all the useful application information!

The last few weeks we’ve been doing sessions with young parents, getting out, walking, talking and exploring women’s health in creative ways!

Love the conversations you can have with people when you get out, get some fresh air and get creative!

These sessions are feeding into our campaign project ‘Why are we not talking about women’s health?’

The last few weeks we’ve got started with a new project, this one’s a bit different, a creative campaign project, a call for action!

With thanks to funding from Rosa and their Voices from the Frontline grants programme we’re working with partners and engaging a range of women’s groups in our campaign looking at women’s health inequalities.

We kick started the project with a women’s session in Stretford, gathering their views and experiences, then attending a conference about Women’s Health in Greater Manchester.

We feel really strongly about women’s health and can’t wait to see what difference this and future projects can make…
