What to Expect from Our Accessible Performances
Both of these performances feature the exact same spectacular show as our main run, complete with bright costumes, stunning singing, and fantastic choreography. However, we have made specific adaptations to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment:

Our Relaxed Performance:

Sensory Adjustments: We will dim the house lights so the auditorium is never in complete darkness. The speaker volume will be lowered, and special effects are reduced, meaning no loud bangs or sudden pyrotechnics to worry about.

Flexible Spaces: Our bar area will remain open throughout the show if anyone needs to step out for a quiet break before rejoining the action.

Sensory Support: We will have ear defenders available to borrow for anyone who might be struggling with the environment.

Our BSL Interpreted Performance:
The full, spectacular show will be accompanied on stage by our wonderful friend, Gemma, who will be interpreting the entire performance in British Sign Language.

One of the hardest parts about running this charity is seeing our Parents at their lowest point, drained, scared, exhausted, in distress and at breaking point, not because they have children with SEND, but because the SEND system is broken and the journey of a SEND parent can be torturous.

What we don’t ever expect to see is one of our parents deciding to run a 10K whilst she’s fighting for the right educational provision for her son at tribunal 💙

Please support this incredible Mum if you can 💛
Every penny raised will be spent on supporting Tameside families who have children with SEND

Great opportunity for our Creative Young People with SEND aged 18-25

SHARED on behalf of The Lowry

The Lowry has partnered up with National Youth Theatre to deliver Assemble, a skills and training programme for neurodivergent, disabled, d/Deaf, learning-disabled young adults aged 18 - 25 who have an interest in creative careers.

Over the next three years we will be delivering a series of courses for young people to boost their confidence, knowledge and employability skills, commencing with a pilot programme this summer. Each course is completely free, and there is funding to support with travel and access needs, as well as the support of a team of creative support workers.

All details of the programme can be found below

• Managing careers, families, parents

• Holding everything together

But when was the last time someone asked what YOU need?

We’re looking to create a new support service for women in midlife — and we don’t want to guess. We want to listen.
