How do you prepare graduates to make responsible decisions that balance business success with climate impact?

Following the Carbon Literacy training, Oluwatobi Ogunmokun, Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, has committed to embedding carbon awareness directly into leadership education and ethical decision-making.

He has pledged to introduce carbon impact assessment into his Level 7 module, Responsible Leadership and Ethics, ensuring sustainability becomes a core consideration in how leadership decisions are evaluated.

These commitments demonstrate how higher education can shape sustainable leadership practices, equipping future decision-makers to consider both ethical responsibility and environmental impact in their choices.

Join our free webinar this Thursday showcasing how Carbon Literacy is driving change at every scale - via individuals, organisations, sectors and localities.

Lucy Faller-Mead, Lecturer in Teacher Education & Training at West Suffolk College, will share insights on the role educators can play in scaling climate action across communities, businesses, and education systems alike.

From student-led outreach in primary schools to engaging local businesses and contributing to national education policy, West Suffolk College demonstrates how Carbon Literacy can extend far beyond the classroom.

Many organisations are motivated to cut carbon emissions but struggle to turn awareness into consistent, organisation-wide action. Staff often lack the confidence to identify carbon savings, and even when motivation exists, it doesnโ€™t always translate into measurable change.

Sustainability Lead at Freedom Leisure UK, Jennifer Barton, will join us at our upcoming webinar to share how Carbon Literacy has been embedded across a 6,000-strong workforce, with training delivered at all levels of the organisation.

The outcomes demonstrate what happens when learning becomes action:
โœ…+15% increase in confidence to identify carbon savings โœ…Motivation to act rose from 65% to 96%
โœ…12.2% reduction in energy consumption (2025โ€“2026)
โœ…221.2 tonnes COโ‚‚e saved

From awareness to action. From training to measurable impact.

Join us to find out how Carbon Literacy is enabling organisations to turn ambition into results.
