📈 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀. 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Money can feel complicated - especially when you’re navigating it for the first time.

For young people aged 16-30, building financial confidence can start with the basics: opening your first bank account, understanding your payslip, knowing where your money goes, starting to save, and making informed choices about your finances.

Street League supports young people to develop practical financial skills they need to feel more confident, independent and in control of their money, without judgement and at their own pace.

We also work alongside partners who bring valuable advice, knowledge and practical tips to help young people make sense of their finances.

🌟 Because financial wellbeing isn’t about having lots of money. It’s about having the knowledge and confidence to make your money work for you.

🌟 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 & 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.

Over the past three years, the support of the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has helped Street League participants in Leeds gain the skills, qualifications, and confidence to take positive next steps into employment, education and training.

Alongside this investment, colleagues from St. James's Place have generously given their time to volunteer with our young people, sharing their experience and insights through their own career journeys and supporting with mock interviews, helping young people feel more prepared for the world of work.

💛 Together, we've seen some fantastic outcomes, but most importantly, we've seen young people grow in confidence and believe in what they can achieve. A huge thank you to the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation and to every colleague who has volunteered their time. Your support has helped create opportunities for young people across Leeds.
