Did you know? In the vast, intricate world of the NHS England, there is a group of individuals who often remain unnoticed, yet they play a significant role in our healthcare system. These are the non-medical staff - the administrative and support crews. They are the ones who ensure the smooth operation of all processes, witnessing a revolving door of faces, yet their contributions often go unappreciated.

These Unsung Heroes, as we like to call them, are the backbone of our healthcare services. They are the administrators making appointments, the receptionists offering a comforting smile, the support staff solving logistical puzzles. They are there, day in and day out, working tirelessly, often behind the scenes. Despite experiencing high staff turnover, they continue to deliver their services seamlessly, with dedication and professionalism.

However, the importance of these individuals often gets overshadowed when it comes to conversations about healthcare staffing dilemmas. At the Unsung Hero Awards, we are committed to changing this narrative. We strive to shine a spotlight on these hard-working individuals, highlighting their crucial contributions and celebrating their relentless spirit.

Now, we want to hear from you. Do you have an Unsung Hero in your life? Someone working in healthcare whose dedication, hard work, and commitment often goes unnoticed? Share with us how they make a difference to the healthcare services you receive or observe.
