Aweil West Commissioner Issues Bans on Tramadol Abuse

The Commissioner of Aweil West County has issued a stern warning against the abuse of Tramadol, stating that any youth or individual found using the drug will face imprisonment.

Speaking during funeral prayers for the late Kuach Maniin, Abuol Akok stressed that Tramadol misuse poses a serious threat to the community, especially among young people, and called for strict measures to curb its spread.

She further warned that anyone involved in selling the drug will be held accountable under the law, stressing that authorities will take firm action to curb its spread.

The Commissioner called on the community to cooperate with local authorities in the fight against drug abuse and to protect the future of the youth.

Mading Aweil Community Football Team – Birmingham, UK ⚽🇸🇸

The Mading Aweil Community Football Team continues to train every Sunday in Birmingham City under the guidance of Coach Kuach Deng, who has been working tirelessly to build a strong and focused team.

We are also grateful for the continuous support and encouragement from Mading Aweil Youth Chairperson, Mangar Wol, who is dedicated to helping the youth stay focused on their goals and share positive ideas for growth.

Despite the great spirit within the team, we are currently facing challenges, especially with a lack of football equipment and training resources. The team is also working hard to raise funds for two new jerseys, as we now have two squads representing our community.

Let’s come together and support each other to keep our community team strong and united! 💪🏿⚽

Congratulations to Abuk Deng Makuac

We are thrilled to announce that Abuk Deng has been elected as the Secretary for Women Affairs in the Mading Aweil Community Association in the UK, in her new role, Abuk will work closely with the women in our community, representing their voices and ensuring their needs are met. We have no doubt that she will be an incredible advocate and leader for all the women in the association. 🇸🇸🇬🇧

Mading Aweil Youths in Birmingham UK

This weekend, our youths in Birmingham came together to celebrate life, unity, and brotherhood with a Sunday barbecue.

They spent the day sharing their visions for the future, supporting one another with advice, playing football, dancing, and enjoying great food. What makes this truly special is the love and strength they show each other building a community where no one feels alone.

The spirit of togetherness and determination they’ve created is something we can all learn from. To our elders and the wider community: let us support and encourage these young people, because their unity today is the foundation for a stronger tomorrow.

Mading Aweil youths are showing us that when we come together, we can achieve greatness both in the UK and back home. 🇸🇸🇬🇧
