🌊 SEPTEMBER AT DEBDALE 🌊

What a brilliant month it’s been at Debdale Outdoor Activity Club! 💙

September has been packed with windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding, with the reservoir staying busy right through the month. 🌊🏄‍♀️🛶⛵

Our young windsurfers have had an incredible month, finishing the Regional North West Windsurfing League in style with the Diamonds taking 1st Team at Scotman’s Flash — making it 1st Team at every league event this season! 🏆

🏆 UKWA National Wind Sports Championships

What a way to round off the month!

A huge congratulations to all our Debdale Diamonds who have raced, trained, learned and represented the club throughout September. 💎👏

It’s also been fantastic to see Nacro, Moet and our wider watersports community enjoying the reservoir alongside us.

💎🌊 A FANTASTIC WEEKEND FOR THE DEBDALE DIAMONDS! 🌊💎

A weekend of racing at the UKWA National Wind Sports Championships at Rutland Sailing Club! 🏄‍♀️💨

We’re incredibly proud of our Debdale Diamonds, with three podium finishes across the Techno fleets:

🥇🏆 1st – Techno 3.5 Boy
🥇🏆 1st – Techno 5.0 Girl
🥉 3rd – Techno 7.8 Girl

Some fantastic racing, great determination and brilliant results from our young windsurfers! 👏💙

A huge well done to all the Debdale Diamonds who competed and represented Debdale Outdoor Activity Club with pride. 💎

A big thank you to the UKWA and Rutland Sailing Club for hosting a fantastic weekend of racing and bringing windsurfers together from across the country. 🌊

🌊 SATURDAY AT DEBDALE! 🌊

Another busy Saturday on the Debdale Reservoir! 💙

There was plenty happening on the water with:

🏄‍♀️ Windsurfing
⛵ Sailing
🛶 Canoeing
🛶 Kayaking
🏄 Paddleboarding

And with Nacro also out on the water, there was a fantastic atmosphere across the reservoir! 🙌

It’s brilliant to see so many people enjoying the water, trying different activities, developing new skills and making the most of everything Debdale Outdoor Activity Club has to offer. 💙

🌊💎 WHAT A SEASON FOR THE DEBDALE DIAMONDS! 💎🌊

The Regional North West Windsurfing League 2026 has taken us to four fantastic events, and what a journey it’s been! 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️

📍 7th June – Debdale Outdoor Activity Club🥇
📍 28th June – West Kirby🥇
📍 11th July – Glossop Watersports Club🥇
📍 5th September – Scotman’s Flash – Wigan & St Helens SC 🥇

From our home club waters at Debdale to racing at different venues across the North West, the Diamonds have shown incredible teamwork, determination and competitive spirit. 💪🌊

But it’s not just about the results — it’s about seeing our young windsurfers gaining confidence, improving their skills, supporting each other and having fun along the way. 💙

A massive thank you to all the host clubs and their amazing volunteers for welcoming us, organising the events and putting so much time and effort into making the league happen. 🙌

🌊☀️ AUGUST AT DEBDALE ☀️🌊

What an amazing month at Debdale Outdoor Activity Club! 💙

August has been packed with adventure, learning, achievements and lots of fun on and off the water! 🌊

🏄‍♀️ Windsurfing - lots of time on the water developing skills and confidence.

🛶 Canoeing & Paddleboarding - plenty of paddling, splashing and smiles!

⛵ Sailing - getting out on the water and enjoying everything Debdale has to offer.

⛵ Tall Ships Adventure - some of our members took part in an incredible Tall Ships adventure, sailing from Scotland, climbing the mast, putting their sailing skills to the test and experiencing life at sea! 🌊⚓

☀️ Holiday Club - another fantastic summer of outdoor activities, new experiences and making memories with friends.

🏆 Achievements - a huge well done to all our members who have continued to train, compete and challenge themselves throughout the summer!

A massive THANK YOU to all our members, coaches, volunteers and families who have made August so special. 💙

It’s been fantastic seeing so many young people getting outdoors, trying new things, developing new skills and making memories!

⛵️🌊 TALL SHIPS ADVENTURE – DAY 3! 🌊⛵️

Wet, cold… but still smiling! 🌧️🥶😄

Day 3 saw our Debdale members sailing back towards Greenock, battling the elements and getting stuck into life at sea! ⚓️⛵️

With multiple sails up, the Tall Ship was making its way through the water while the crew experienced some pretty exciting sights along the way! 🌊

⛵️ Wind in the sails
🌧️ Rain
🥶 And definitely some chilly conditions!

Cold, wet and loving every minute! 🌊⚓️

We are so incredibly proud that TWO of our athletes, Jasmin and Theodore, received awards at the GLL Sport Foundation awards at the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester this week.

Huge congratulations to them both!
