Big Brands are increasingly taking the P!$$ ever since COVID.

Watch this video comparing cheap "low quality" unbranded goods versus "high end quality" branded products.

"Cheap low value" chocolate is now of a FAR HIGHER QUALITY than some of these extortionately expensive brands. Basically they're charging for their "good name" whilst slyly taking us all for mugs. This reminds of Victorian time methods where manufacturers would sell poisonous products as health products just to earn a quick buck because that was the trend of the time.

If you care about getting value for your daily earnings, I advise people to give some of these brands an ignore and park your money for something far more worthy of your hard efforts.

Till next time, stay save out there savers!!! 😉👊

Some supermarkets value their customers so much that they build into the pricing of their goods, the cost of unsold food that they throw away which literally means that if you shop with them then you're also paying for the food they throw away.

Wondering what's missing in this video?

Could it be that manufacturers are driving up prices because there's no competition in a sea of competitors?

Look at this video and then look through our posts and all the graphs.

See the pattern?

Raw materials and wholesale energy costs all rose at roughly the same time in 2021 creating the cost of living crisis

Come late 2022/early 2023 and raw materials and wholesale energy costs start coming down to just above the 2021 leaves.

Yet the cost of living crisis continues going up.

What's wrong with this picture?

?

The cost of living crisis is far from over.

Be careful of what you're buying from big expensive names as flashier and famous does not mean the products are the real deal.

Brands, in reality, are perception sellers.

They charge you and I for the perception of something being "better" when a lot of the times their products are nothing but a mixture of cheap knock-offs dressed up in flashy labels whilst a lot of "cheap own-label" products turn out to be the real deal, as in what it says on the label is actually what's inside the packaging.

Basically, you end up paying more for the packaging and labelling whilst the actual product inside isn't the product you're paying for.

🚨 Are you feeling the energy price drop? 🚨

If your bills are still sky-high, you're right to be angry. Wholesale prices have fallen, but the system is rigged so suppliers profit while we get pennies in savings.

The Price Cap "Increase"

· The Ofgem price cap ROSE to £1,755 a year for a typical household in October - https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/information-consumers/energy-advice-households/energy-price-cap-explained

· Your electricity unit rate is now around 26.35p/kWh, UP 2% from the last quarter - https://www.nimblefins.co.uk/average-cost-electricity-kwh-uk

· The daily standing charge for electricity has also JUMPED (See the articles above).

Where's Our Relief? 🤔

· Experts confirm energy bills are still 44% higher than before the energy crisis. The price drop we were promised is a myth - https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-9714/

See the graphs and links further below for a further kick in the teeth.

· While you're forced to ration heating, energy debts have hit a record £4.4 billion. Suppliers are getting richer from our hardship.

The System is Broken 💔

The price cap is supposed to protect us, but it's now a tool that keeps bills artificially high. The regulator itself admits standing charges are unfair and is looking at changes, but that's cold comfort for families struggling NOW - https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/policy/standing-charges-energy-price-cap-variant-next-steps

This isn't just a bill—it's an injustice.

See current wholesale electricity prices for the UK and France as we can buy from France in case of energy shortages.

Notice the massive drop in the graphs below?

📉 The Great Canola/Rapeseed Price Drop They're NOT Passing On! 🛒

Another key raw ingredient in a lot of our food products has massively dropped in price yet our shopping is rising. Add in energy prices have dropped to almost similar prices to before the energy market went crazy and you've to ask yourself, how is this making any sense?

Continue reading:

Feel like your supermarket shop should be getting cheaper? You're right. The price of a key ingredient in most of your food has PLUMMETED, but the big brands and supermarkets just aren't passing the savings on to you.

· 🚨 The Sky-High Peak You Paid For:

Canola/Rapeseed oil hit an unbelievable all-time high of over $1,200 per tonne in 2022. We all felt this in the cost of our weekly shop.

· 📉 The Massive Drop They're Hiding:

Since that peak, the price has CRASHED. It's now trading around $615 per tonne. That's a drop of nearly 50% from its peak!

· 🔍 Hidden in Plain Sight:

Canola/Rapeseed oil isn't just a cooking oil. It's a key, cheap ingredient hidden in a huge amount of UK supermarket foods. Check the labels on your:

· Baked goods like bread, cakes, and cookies

· Prepared meals and processed foods

· Salad dressings, mayonnaise, and sauces

· Crackers and chips

They charged us top dollar when prices were high, but now that costs have collapsed, they're pocketing the difference and hoping we won't notice. Our wallets are being squeezed to protect their profits.

It's time to use our power. We need to act, and we need to act together.

· 👉 ACT NOW:

Check Every Label. Before you buy, look at the ingredients. If you see "canola oil" or "rapeseed oil", ask yourself if there's an alternative. Choose store-brand items or products that use different oils.

· 👉 SPREAD THE WORD. SHARE this post.

Talk to friends and family. The more people who know about this con, the harder it is for them to get away with it.

· 👉 HIT THEIR PROFITS.

By denying them our money, we force them to compete again. Lower their sales, and they'll have no choice but to lower their prices.

This is more than just shopping; it's a fight for fairness. Let's make our wallets count! ✊
