PROJECTS // In anticipation of our first Rethread Hubs session on Tuesday 13th October at Miles Platting Community Library, Sarah and Charlotte went to the library and the community grocers to chat about the project and sign people up.

CORRECTION 13th October at Miles Platting Community Library we've got a drop in mending session to learn more about the Rethread Hubs coming in the area

17th we've got our Yard Sale - get your requests in for stuff you're looking for!

18th is Zero to Hero, for those wanting to learn to sew in a day

Tuesday 27th-Thursday 29th is our FREE Holiday club for kids age 8-16 - check our website for eligibility and to book

PROJECTS // Anyone remember when we made a visibly mended jacket for 's Unpicking Couture exhibition? Well after 3 years we have been reunited with the jacket! Don't worry, it will still get good use, as we're going to bring it to our repair events to show examples of mending

PROJECTS // We were at the press launch night for Interwoven by , featuring the t-shirts made by students in our workshops, transformed into one giant t-shirt installation.

The students learned about textile waste, sewing skills, and working to a brief. They created in response to the current climate crisis, and thinking about the future of fashion.

The exhibiton is visitable from 9-20 September, during their regular opening hours of 12 – 5:30pm, Wednesday to Sunday. Definitely go see it if you can!
