The organisation’s objectives are to provide social, cultural, recreational and educational activities for the local community. Al-Hilal works with, and offers the following services:
- youth activities (boys & girls)
- Parent & toddler group
- women's activities (social and cooking etc)
- men's activities (men's luncheon club)
- supplementary school (children 5-16 years of age)
- information & assistance sessions
