The purpose of a Repair Café event is that people work together to fix broken things. Margrets Community Centre in Chorlton on the seco
nd Saturday of the month from 10am-12, is volunteer-run, free and open to anybody. Just drop in with or without broken items to learn repair skills from our expert volunteers, have a cup of tea, and maybe even help out yourself. Any broken items that you are able to transport to the repair café are welcome. This could be toasters, lamps, toys, clothes, hair dryers, bikes, crockery etc. If you have any tools that could be used to fix your item, or someone else’s, it would be great if you could bring these along too.
