Manchester Youth Zone is a state-of-the-art, purpose built facility for young people which offers a huge range of activities every night of the week. No matter what you're interested in or like doing, we provide somewhere to go, something to do, and someone to talk to.

Here at Manchester Youth Zone, we share in the cityโ€™s sadness at Pat Karneyโ€™s passing. He was a champion of our Harpurhey community in the truest sense of the word.

Pat was a steadfast supporter of our work, sharing our belief that children and young people in North Manchester deserve a safe, welcoming and inspiring place to spend time.

He regularly attended our events and fundraisers, helping us amplify our voice across the city. He was proud to represent our community and always fought hard to make it a better place for everyone.

We will remember Pat with warmth and gratitude for his generous spirit, good humour and unwavering commitment to local people.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues and everyone who knew and loved him.
