Last weekend we had an epic time Running NW Reloaded! Our Company and Seniors were an absolute credit to the 5th Manchester and we had a blast!

Our young people have been having a blast helping at the Big Burnage Parade craft sessions and creating some fantastic parade decorations! 🎨🎭

There’s still time to get involved. Why not come along to our final craft session tomorrow Friday June 12th from 6pm to 8pm? Enjoy an evening of creativity and fun as we get ready for the parade. Refreshments will be provided, and we’d love to see you there!

What a wonderful day we had at Didsbury Festival !!

It was fantastic to be leading the parade again this year with our band and taking part in such a brilliant community event. We loved meeting so many young people and their families throughout the day and sharing what 5th Manchester Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Association is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and joined in the fun.

Our team has been working hard to improve how we communicate with families. We are looking forwards to launching our new Members Area!

This has been kindly developed by Bee Worldwide Developments to support the work out of our company.

We will be rolling this out to families over the coming weeks as a central place for all event, trip and calendar information!

We are really excited to be supporting the BIG Burnage Parade and encouraging everyone to get involved 🎨

These sessions will coincide with our Anchors and Juniors evenings, so young people already attending those groups will be taking part as part of their normal sessions, while the workshops are also open for anyone else to drop in and join.

Workshops are on Monday 8th, Wednesday 10th, and Friday 12th June 6pm to 8pm

Come to one session or all of them and get involved in something really special for our community

It would be wonderful to see as many people there as possible

We are incredibly proud to share that the work taking place at The 5th Manchester Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association has recently been featured by Manchester City Council’s Digital Inclusion Team on their blog!

Over the past few months, we have been developing links with Manchester City Council through the digital skills work our Seniors have been doing around Canva, creativity and design.

Chloe Anwen, Community Engagement Manager at Cornerstone and one of our BBGA officers, first shared the project through an article for the Digital Inclusion newsletter. This led to a meeting with Georgia McRae from Manchester City Council to discuss the project and the wider impact our youth work is having in the community.

Following the meeting, the team were so impressed by the confidence, creativity and digital skills being developed by our young people that they have now written a blog post all about the work taking place through The 5th Manchester BBGA and Cornerstone.

A huge well done to all of our young people and volunteers involved 👏

Come along tomorrow between 10:30am and 12:30pm and help create artwork for the Big Burnage Parade taking place on the 5th of July!

Everyone is welcome, whether you love art or simply fancy trying something new. Refreshments provided, friendly faces guaranteed, and plenty of chances to get creative together.

Cornerstone are delighted to host some wonderful art workshops alongside a local artist as we work together on designing the artwork for the Big Burnage Parade, taking place on the 5th of July.

It was so lovely to have Greater Manchester Blood Bikes Charity come down to our Junior Section tonight. Everyone learned something new and it was great to see the impact they have in our community. Thanks for coming the Juniors really enjoyed it.
